Here at Invested Childcare, we believe that a child is someone worth investing in. We firmly believe that the key to success is the investment of time, patience, resilience, compassion and understanding.
Our Homes
Despite every effort, institutionalisation is still an issue in a lot of children’s homes. We hope that any child who lives with us will not be subjected to any form of institutionalised behaviour.
This includes, but is not limited to, language such as ‘staff members’, ‘COSSH cupboard’, ‘petty cash’ or referring to the time adults spend in the home as ‘shifts’. No child will be expected to sign any documentation for things such as pocket money or consequence logs, and the leadership team in the home will not be expected to dress formally.
